WHERE TO FIND A HUSBAND?

 I have often wondered, how in the olden days parents match make their kids and it worked out after a lot had gone on behind the scenes. Some couples end up happy while others not so happy. I had discussed this with a married female friend of mine, who is so determined I met Mr. Right in good way, Thank God.

So I just finished from church and was feeling good about keeping my hope alive with my long prayer requests to God. Of which money is at the helm so I can spoil my mum for all the sacrifices she had done for us..... among others:)

I decided to go to Mega Plaza to a little shopping but I arrived before 11am so I grabbed a chair and decided to wait patiently till they open at the pop corn spot. Low and behold while I watched how workers came in to prepare for their shift. The following conversation takes place:-
Man: Hello
Me: Hi
Man: "Are you waiting for someone?
Me: Nope to shop
Man: Okay I'm waiting for my friends (I didn't ask as I had systematically scoped his hands and noticed his wedding band)
Me: OK
Now Married Man: So what do you do?
Me: I work at a TV station
Now Married Man:Ok nice I'm not a Nigerian, Kenyan.
Me:Yeah! I noticed
Now Married Man:So where can one get a good sports wear on the Island?
Me: Try The Palms
Now Married Man:So you coming from Church?
Me:Yes
Now Married Man:What do you do to unwind?
Me:I go to church and unwind on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Already in the Entertainment Industry.
Now Married Man: Are you married (I nod negatively) How will you find a husband, if you're always in church?

At that point, thankfully the shop had opened and I majestically took my leave -who am I kidding it was in a haste. He was tall and cute but not single so off with his head.

I bet you all would be wanting me to dissect this episode but honestly there's no need. I just can't be that lady who causes another female folk sadness.  I have first hand how it affects wives, kids and others, it's terrible and I do wont mine to be better than I even imagine. Not looking over my shoulder as Hubby is chatting:)
